Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce Financial Accounting or any other relevant qualification
- Have a strong desire to work in process and control documentation
- Articles or audit experience will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of financial processes will be advantageous
- The candidate must have experience with control environment and testing control effectiveness
Critical Skills:
- Must be a highly motivated, a go-getter, and strive for improvement
- Must have good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be a team player and be willing to accept criticism
- Must have good numerical skills, attentive to detail, and well organized
- High level of personal responsibility and integrity
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Close collaboration and supporting the ICS Champion
- Aligning and setting up control test schedule as per the central testing guideline
- Performing the test of control effectiveness and documentation of the control test results
- Support in maintenance of an effective and efficient internal control system
- Support annual process and control reviews.
- Assist with ICS measures and the implementation for these measures
- Performance of Adhoc Internal Control System tasks
