Pan South Africa language board (PLAN SALB) is a statutory body established in terms of Act 59 of 1995 (as amended) for inter alia, the creation of conditions for the department and promotion of equal use and enjoyment of all the official South African languages. PanSALB seeks to appoint results-driven, assertive, and dedicated individuals to fill the following position at their organization
Location: Pretoria Arcadia
Duration:12 months
Stipend:
- R6, 174.96 per month for relevant National Diploma qualification
- R9, 378.33 per month for relevant Degree qualification honours
- R11,148.81 per month for relevant Masters qualifications
- R13,915.12 per month for the Doctorate Qualifications
The Pan South African language Board invites graduates who seek practical work experience and unemployed graduates who are interested in public service careers to apply for internships (an occupationally based work experience opportunity) in the occupations mentioned below for a minimum of twelve months internship programme.
STUDY AREA/ QUALIFICATION AND THE NUMBER OF INTERNS TO BE PLACED
Below is the list of the study areas wherein interns can be accommodated, and the relevant qualification required
Language decision at head office: Degree/Diploma/Honours/Master’s Degree in language practice/Translation & Interpretation/Linguistic human rights / Status Language Planning/ Language in Education and computational Linguistics.
Finance
Degree/ Diploma/ Honours /Masters in Financial Management / Accounting / Cost Accounting.
Communication
Degree / Diploma/ Honours / Masters in graphic design.Visual or Brand communication
Supply Chain Management
Degree/ Diploma / Honours/ Master’s in supply chain management / logistics Management / purchasing Management
The following must be noticed
- Only a minimum of 3 years tertiary qualification (NQF 6) and above in the mentioned fields will be considered applicants
- Candidates wishing to apply for the internship outside their region must be willing to find their accommodation and transportation considering that they will be earning a stipend
- Graphic design applicants must attach a portfolio not bigger than 3MB
