In its commitment to achieving and maintaining diversity and equity in employment, Sibanye Waters is offering a learner miner learnership to matriculants to help equip them with the required competencies to conduct safe and efficient blasting and other associated mining activities in an underground environment.
At the end of the programme, successful learners will receive a Blasting certificate. The programme is a fixed term.

Requirements:
- Applicants must have a minimum Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Educational Certificate, with Mathematics and English Communication, to be accepted onto the Blasting Certificate program.
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
Additional Requirements:
While all matriculants are encouraged to apply for this learnership, preference will be given to applicants who are residents within the local community, thus proof of residence must accompany the application form. In addition, previous mining experience will be advantageous.
