Sundowns is offering an internship programme for unemployed youth to help them gain work experience coupled with skills in the following areas:
- Photography
- Journalist/Writer
- TikTok Content Creator
- Production Video Editor
- Marketing Activation Supporter
Stipend: R5000 per month
Duration: Three (3) months
Requirement:
- Only Grade 12 is required
- The applicant must be unemployed as this is a full-term internship programme
- Live anywhere in South Africa
- Applicants without a sports application are encouraged to apply
- Anyone between the ages of 18 and 34
The programme was launched on June 16th, 2022, and will be running for 3 months, that is between August to December 2022. As this is an internship programme, the five selected interns will be working within the club.
The applications to the programme will be opened on the 22nd of June at 9 am and will close on July 12th, 2022 at 5 pm. The requirement for the programme is Matric (Grade 12). Therefore, a tertiary qualification is not necessary and anyone who resides in South Africa can apply. Successful applicants will be contacted by Mamelodi Sundowns after the closing date.
Please note: Standard equipment will be required as per the job description for the position that the applicant is applying for. The applicant does not need to be a Sundowns supporter to apply.
At the end of the internship, a decision will be made regarding employment. This will depend on available positions based on performance.
