CSIR Communications Internship

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) invites unemployed graduates for an internship opportunity in Communications in the Mandela Mining Precinct, which is hosted within the CSIR Business Excellence and Integration portfolio.

Successful candidates will gain practical work experience through the research and development of competitive technologies and innovative products under the guidance of researchers and engineers within cross-functional teams.

Location: Johannesburg

Closing Date: July 15th, 2022

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, or Media Studies.
Knowledge in social media management and/or website management especially Word Press
Good word processing and typing skills with a high accuracy rate.
Knowledge of digital media tools such as video
Computer literacy (MS Office Package)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have no criminal record

Ability to prioritize and have a good sense of urgency and accuracy
