The successful candidates will be working 27 maximum hours per week and will be reporting to the Operation Store’s manager. They will be required to deliver a great customer shopping experience through the processing of transactions at pay points (as cashiers).

Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
Exceptional customer service skills
Working experience in a retail environment will be an added advantage.

Critical Skills:

Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Target driven
Self-motivated, target-driven, and tenacious
Energetic for Ackermans’ fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Process laybys, cash, and card payments.
Help customers in locating the products or goods that they are looking for.
Attend to customer queries and complaints
Balance till the end of each shift.
Report any problems and discrepancies to the supervisor.
Be up to date with any sales or promotions.
Participate in stocktaking of products and goods.

Additional Responsibilities:

Ensure that all stock is tagged and priced correctly and displayed in the right location.
Housekeeping of store.
Ensure that products are available on the sales floor.
Ensure that products and all goods are tagged according to Ackerman’s policy.
Be vigilant, attentive, and on the lookout for shoplifters.
Report fraudulent activities or suspicious behavior to the management.
