IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, intends to develop its ‘palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold’ project and will be using the latest technology to develop the mine into a ‘mine of the future.

As the project is in its developing stages, IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd seeks to employ suitably qualified general workers who will be assisting with a variety of site labour tasks.

Location: Mokopane, Limpopo

Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) certificate
Be willing to work continuous operation shifts and overtime as and when required by management
Must have good solving skills
Must be medically fit and able to work at extreme heights
1 year of experience in the construction industry with contactable references will be an added advantage
Be a mature, self-motivated and disciplined individual that promotes high safety standards
Be dedicated to meeting deadlines
Be stress tolerant
Be a South African citizen or permanent South African resident.
Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Duties And Responsibilities:

Operate on the site by safe working procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe job site by handling materials and storing them properly
Assist in site labour tasks.
Ensure that work equipment and tools are clean and stored properly as per the standard of Ivanhoe Mines.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide sufficient support to the Shutterhand, reinforcing hands, as required and when needed.
Pick up and remove all tools and equipment when they are not in use.
Secure the job site daily
