Power utility Eskom invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for Plant Operator learnerships in various provinces across the country. The successful candidates will be placed in Plant Operator programmes for 18 months.

1. Western Cape

(i) Peaking Power Stations: Palmiet Power Station, Gariep Power Station, and Vanderkloof Power Station

Requirements:

Matric with the following subjects: Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%

N3 with Maths 50%, Science 50%, and English 40%

NCV Level 4 with 50%, Science 50%, and English 40%

Additional Requirements:

Computer literacy
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Must be self-disciplined, self-driven, committed, responsible, and self-motivated
Must be safety conscious
