SANparks Hut Attendants

South African National Parks seeks to employ 36 Hut Attendants who will be based at various camps or work stations at Kruger National Park for a period of three months. Accommodation will be provided for successful candidates in the official accommodation inside the park therefore anyone can apply for the vacancy.

SANparks Hut Attendants Requirements:

A minimum of Grade 10 is required. Grade 12 will be advantageous.
The candidate must have basic hygiene knowledge, housekeeping experience will be an added advantage.
Must be physically fit and in good health.
Candidates who wish to be employed as hut attendants must have basic knowledge of health and safety in the workplace, and have good knowledge of tools, handling and aftercare.
Must be willing to work shifts.

SANparks Hut Attendants Duties And Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning duties including chalets, ablution facilities and surrounding areas to prescribed set standards.
Control inventory items.
Reporting abnormalities including equipment and maintenance faults.
Assist with the collection of supplies when necessary.
Assist with general work in the camp.
Assist in laundry duties of the rest camp
