Successful candidates will be working as cashiers at Box Office Sales or Catering Sales, Cinema Assistants, Waiters, and will be responsible for all other cinema functions as requested by a supervisor.

Ster-Kinekor Cinema Assistants Minimum Requirements:

Interested applicants must have successfully completed or passed Grade 12/Matric
No experience is required for this position. However, minimum experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
Must have excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and a team player.
Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge in Vista will be an added advantage.
Interpersonal relations, organized, analytical and excellent administrative skills.

Ster-Kinekor Cinema Assistants Duties:

Prepare Popcorn, Slush, or any other product according to quality standards set, managing the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to ensure that guest experiences is not compromised.
Assist in shift preparation in area where required, and be presentable at all times.
Ensure that all H&S reports are submitted according to the required schedules, that the correct uniform and preparation standards are adhered to at all times to ensue your safety and that of others around you.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, all kitchen equipment and surrounding areas, including counter areas.
Check that storerooms are within standards set, that prepared products are properly sealed, packaged and stored, and that the working area and cinema is fumigated when required.

Additional Duties:

Display age restrictions, F&B and products, and update synopsis files and posters.
Maintain up to date knowledge of products offered by Ster-Kinekor as well as promotional/marketing activities to enable to upsell to all guests.
