Nando’s Youth Jobs: To beat the youth unemployment rate, Nando’s seeks to employ a number of unemployed young people who are value-driven, vibrant and customer focused to prepare food and perform overall cleaning procedures as required.

Successful candidates will also be responsible for completing various other tasks as specified by management, in accordance with the Nando’s operational standards.

Job Type: Permanent Part Time

Shift: 8 hours or more

Positions: Waitron, Back Griller, Front Griller and General Assistants

Location: Various Nando’s restaurants

Closing Date: November 3rd, 2022

Nando’s Youth Jobs Minimum Requirements:

Must be in possession of a Grade 12/Matric certificate or equivalent.
Be willing to work shifts, on weekends and public holidays.
Take one taxi to get to the restaurant
Ability to stand for long hours

Nando’s Youth Jobs Duties And Responsibilities:

Ensure that the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times.
Prepare required products in accordance with the production planning and Nando’s operational standards.
Perform opening and closing procedures in accordance with the laid down standards.
Adhere to the food, health and safety procedures and Nando’s operational standards.
Improve service levels by applying the 4 Customer Care Principles.
Perform any other Nando’s restaurant duties as and when required by the management from time to time.

General Assistants Duties:

Ensure that all customer orders are delivered safely and efficiently.
Act as Nando’s restaurant representative to customers.
Ensure accurate cash, credit card and voucher management in accordance with policies and procedures.
Receive and escalate customer complaints to the manager on duty
Familiarize yourself with the restaurant delivery area to improve speed of service.
