SAPS Kitchen Staff (Only Grade 12 Required) Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4)
• Must be a South African citizen with a clear criminal record.
• Be fluent in English and any South African official language.
• Certificate in food preparation and/or catering will be advantageous.
• Have the ability to operate elementary machines and equipment.
• The candidate must be willing to work extended hours, as and when requested.

SAPS Kitchen Staff (Only Grade 12 Required) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer general mess matters, mess purchases and control mess
  stock.
• Prepare the kitchen for meal preparations with cooking utensils and equipment.
• Plan, cook food according to the menu.
• Present well cooked food, i.e appealing plate presentation.
• Serve meals and provide waiter service.
• Comply to hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen.
