Homechoice Call Centre Agents Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate Or equivalent (NQF level 4)
- Have at least one year working experience in a call centre environment (collections).
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) and telephone etiquette.
- Clear credit amd criminal record.
- Willing to work shifts, during weekends and public holidays.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel, email and internet).
- Work well independently and in a team.
- Interpersonal relations and listening skills.
- Energetic, result-driven and attention to detail.
- Organized, results-orientated and performance driven.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Contact customers whose accounts are delinquent (60 to 90 days) within 30 days so to collect and minimize bad-debts.
- Educate customers on their payment profile and obtain a promise to pay from customers.
- Using a polite, friendly, and professional approach, negotiate with customers ensuring that the business-customer relationship is not tarnished.
- Relay the correct information to customers and accurately capture all customer details and agreements onto the system.
- Following the call script, negotiate payments from customers within dialer time and meet departmental KPA targets.
- Achieve the daily collections target.
Additional Duties:
- Complete Lost Time Sheets daily.
- Adhere to company processes, systems, policies and procedures.
- Constantly and proactively look for ways to improve efficiencies through performance, communications, procedures and systems.
