Homechoice Call Centre Agents: Homechoice seeks to employ Call Centre agents who will be responsible for collecting outstanding debts from customers telephonically. Successful candidates will assist in reducing the risk of write-offs, minimize bad debts, and rehabilitate delinquent clients.

Homechoice Call Centre Agents Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate Or equivalent (NQF level 4)
  • Have at least one year working experience in a call centre environment (collections).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) and telephone etiquette.
  • Clear credit amd criminal record.
  • Willing to work shifts, during weekends and public holidays.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel, email and internet).
  • Work well independently and in a team.
  • Interpersonal relations and listening skills.
  • Energetic, result-driven and attention to detail.
  • Organized, results-orientated and performance driven.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers whose accounts are delinquent (60 to 90 days) within 30 days so to collect and minimize bad-debts.
  • Educate customers on their payment profile and obtain a promise to pay from customers.
  • Using a polite, friendly, and professional approach, negotiate with customers ensuring that the business-customer relationship is not tarnished.
  • Relay the correct information to customers and accurately capture all customer details and agreements onto the system.
  • Following the call script, negotiate payments from customers within dialer time and meet departmental KPA targets.
  • Achieve the daily collections target.

Additional Duties:

  • Complete Lost Time Sheets daily.
  • Adhere to company processes, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Constantly and proactively look for ways to improve efficiencies through performance, communications, procedures and systems.
