SANDF Military Training Programme 2024: The South African National defence Force invites Matriculants between the ages of 18-22 and graduates who are not older than 26 to apply for the defence force’s 2022-2024 training programme.
Interested applicants may also join the South Africa Reserve Force Division through the Military Skills Development System (MSDS) or direct SANDF recruitment.
During the 2-year training programme, recruits will be receiving military training and further functiomal training. They will be deployed where needed for a chance to apply their knowledge and develop their skills.

SANDF Military Training Programme 2024 Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Grade 12/Matric is required for applicants who are not older than 22, and a 3-year tertiary qualifications for applicants who are over 22 but not older than 26.
- Mathematics and Physical Science (level 4) will be an added advantage.
- APS of 17 and above ( This excludes Life Orientation)
- Clear criminal record.
- No visible tattoos (lower arms, face, neck and legs).
- Physically fit and comply with medical requirements.
- Females should have a minimum of 48 kg weight and 148 cm height. Males should have a minimum of 52 kg weight and 152 cm height.
Please Note:
A physical fitness test will be conducted during the selection process. Drug testing, fitness, pychometric and medical evaluation will be conducted. Applicants will also be subjected to verification of documents, qualifications and criminal record.

Once completed, attach your Curriculum Vitae, copies of Matric certificate. A copy of tertiary qualification is required for applicants who are older than 22. Only applicants who have completed Matric in 2022 will be required to produce their Statement of Results.
