SA Youth Employment Registration – 2023: As part of the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention to fight against youth unemployment, several employment programmes and opportunities have been created in several platforms to assist young people in their career search journey.

These opportunities include learnerships, bursaries, skills programmes, YES 4 Youth, internship and graduate programmes, part-time and full-time jobs, volunteering and further studies resources.

Through these platforms, government departments, the private sector (companies/businesses), and youth can easily connect under one network.

For Young People

These platforms have made jobseeking extremely easily and less costly. Some are data-free, whilst others are just less expensive.

For Businesses

To make these opportunities accessible and easy to find for young people, different companies have registered on the YES company portal to make their recruitment process easy for the roles that they want filled.

SA Youth Employment Registration – 2023 Registration Platforms:

Some of these platforms have gone the extra mile in assisting young people with not just employment opportunities but they also provide support and guidance on career choices and skills development.

They assist young people with CV preparation and interview tips through their work readiness programmes, and wellness and selfcare support resources.

1. SA Youth Mobi

SA Youth Mobi understands that data can be expensive especially for unemployed young people who need it mostly to search for jobs online. This is why it has made its platform data free for people that are using MTN, Vodacom, Cell C, Rain, and Telkom.

Their target is individuals who are between the ages of 18-34. Applicants can easily apply for advertized opportunities on this platform, free of charge. However, in some cases, they can be redirected to a different website to apply, which will then need data.

Visit SA Youth to create your profile.

2. Harambee

All applicants who have registered on SA Youth Mobi do not need to register on Harambee as well. They can use their login details to login on either one of the two platforms. Like SA Youth Mobi, Harambee has made it possible for young jobseekers to use its platform for free.

3. Yes 4 Youth

Yes 4 Youth provides all the necessary tools that young people need to kickstart their career. This platform has a free telephone line that the youth can use for enquiries and support, and has a Whatsapp chatbox as well that is filled with different activities and challenges that are designed for young people.

4. Tshepo 1 Million

Like all the other platforms that bring opportunities to young people through different channels, Tshepo 1 Million allows the youth to register on its platform and apply for work opportunities, free of charge.

Not just that, the platform has also made it possible for young jobseekers to access digital learning courses for free.

From Grade 10 and above, applicants can apply for opportunities suited for them in one place. They can also learn how to start and grow their own businesses, receive emotional and legal support  for free.
