Applicants for this role must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate and at least six months of Customer Care and Call Centre experience.

They are responsible for answering customer queries and attending to their complaints.

They must be computer literate with good typing speed, excellent communication skills and fluent in two languages (in this case South African official languages).

Furthermore, they must be organized, self-motivated, well groomed and dynamic individuals.

The required documents for this role are certified copies of Identity Document and Matric certificate and/or any other relevant qualification.

Cabin Crew

Cabin Crew, also known as Flight Attendants or Air Host/Hostess are responsible for ensuring that all passengers are safe and comfortable throughout their flight. They are required to demonstrate safety measures to passengers so they know how to use safey equipment in case of emergencies.

Depending on the type of airline, they may also serve refreshments during the flight and make announcements of behalf of the pilot.

Minimum requirements for this position:

Matric plus a valid cabin crew certificate, South African Identity Document
Customer Care experience
Organized, well groomed and good communication skills
Physically and medically fit
Reside in a reasonable radius
Willing to work shifts
Must be fluent in English and another South African official language.

Airport Ground Crew/Airport Service Agents

The ground staff has different roles individually and is based at the airport terminal. Some are selling airline tickets and making reservations while others are cleaners and responsible for cleaning the plane following a flight.

There are crew members that attend to passenger luggage during check-ins, security, and so forth. Requirements vary depending on the role. However, the minimum requirement is Grade 12, experience in customer care, and good communication skills.
