Harambee Contact Centre Learnership – 2023: Non-Profit Organization Harambee is looking for young work seekers who are energetic, dynamic and self-motivated to apply for its Contact Centre Learnership Programme.
During the programme, learners will gain valuable contact centre experience in giving advice to young jobseekers and entrepreneurs on their job-search journey. They will be required to attend learner modules to grow their skills and get their learnership qualification.
Programme Title: Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator Contact Center Learnership Programme
Duration: 12 Months ( 1 Year )
Stipend: R4 500 per month
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng Province
Closing Date: February 19th, 2023
Harambee Contact Centre Learnership – 2023 Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate. Grade 10 will be accepted for individuals living with disabilities.
- Clear criminal record
- Less than 1-year work experience.
- Willing to commit to a 12-month programme that commences in March, 2023.
- Have not registered or completed a SETA accredited learnership.
- Must be unemployed, and willing to travel to Braamfontein everyday for the duration of the programme.
- Available to work from 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday, and willing to work on occassional weekends.
Competencies/Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluency in various South African Official Languages will be an added advantage.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
- Ability to multi-task
- Time management and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate high levels of empathy and care for others and be able to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Team player, disciplined and committed.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Give advise, support and guidance to young job seekers and entrepreneurs through telephonic conversations/ email correspondence, guiding them on their employment journey.
- Utilize active listening, empathy and problem-solving skills to understand young work seekers/entrepreneurs’ needs and respond with meaningful guidance and support.
- Adhere to Harambee policies and procedures.
- Work with team leaders to improve processes and the experience of young work seekers/entrepreneurs.
