Tourism Safety Learnership: The Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison invites interested applicants to apply for a learnership programme in Tourism Safety Monitors.

The successful candidates will undergo theoritical learning as well as practical Training for a period of 12 months. Furthermore, they will only work 16 days a month.

Tourism Safety Learnership Minimum Requirements:
- In possession of a Grade 12/ Matric certificate.
- The ability to communicate in English and any other official languages.
- Clear criminal record.
- Must be willing to undergo Police clearance (normal criminal
record enquiry). - Reside in the local policing area.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
of age.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Provide information to tourists
- Patrol certain areas
- as per the deployment instructions from the SAPS.pp4p
- Distribute safety tips
- Participate in road blocks
- Expeditiously report suspicious
and criminal activities to the police where necessary. - Enhance tourist safety through visibility.

How To Apply:
Applications need to be completed on a Z83
which must be completed in full, accurately, legibly, honestly, signed and dated.
The completed Z83 form must be accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae with at least three (3) contactable references.
Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of their documents.
