Pick n Pay Store Job Opportunities: Pick n Pay retail store seeks to employ interested applicants who are looking for entry level roles within the Pick n Pay store operations.
The successful candidates will be placed in various entry level roles like cashiers, till packers, shelf packers, blockman, service area assistants, floor salesperson, and so forth.

Pick n Pay Store Job Opportunities Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 will be advantageous
- Numeracy skills
- Good communication skills
- Residing in the geographic location/surrounding areas where the positions are available.
- Applicants must have an Email Address
- Vibrant and well-spoken individuals
- Clear criminal record
- Access to a device with internet
- Willing to work retail hours
Duties And Responsibilities:
Duties vary per role. Successful candidates may be scheduled to perform any two jobs in a working day as part of the Pick n Pay multi-skill campaign.
Summary Of Duties Per Role:
Blockman
- Operate all Butchery Equipment including the Bandsaw and report any defective equipment/utensils to the Butchery Manager.
- Control, Merchandise and Promote stock according to laid down procedures and standards.
- Prepare and break various meat carcasses according to laid down specifications.
- De-boning all cuts of meat and manufacture mince, produce sausages and boerewors.
- Prevent wastage, shrinkage and damages.
Cashiers
- Managing sales transactions efficiently
- Facilitate customer service to improve sales.
- Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customer purchases.
Till Packers
- Assist in packing customer purchases.
Shelf-Packers
- Stock shelves, and price items.
