Digital Ambassadors Training Programme: National Electronic Media Institute Of South Africa (Nemisa) seeks to train 65 interested individuals as Digital Ambassadors.
The appointed candidates will be responsible for educating and training their communities basic digital literacy skills that will help them participate in the digital economy. All the digital ambassadors will earn a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.
There is no age limit required to qualify.
Purpose Of The Programme:
The Ya Rona Digital Training Programme from Nemisa aims to recruit, train, empower, dispatch and support digital ambassadors in their respective communities.
During the programme, digital ambassadors will attend training 4 days a month for 6 months, and will conduct community training 16 days a month over 6 months.

Digital Ambassadors Training Programme:
- Be in possession of a Grade certificate or equivalent. Tertiary qualification advantageous.
- Basic computer skills. A computer certificate will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal. The candidate must be fluent in at least 2 South African official languages.

Duties And Responsibilities:
- Attend training throughout the duration of the programme and complete all modules as requested.
- Ensure that you learn basic digital literacy skills on the modules provided and by participating during training session to gain enough knowledge.
- Work with the Bojanala District Municipality to arrange or book for venues where you will conduct Training to community members.
- Reach allocated weekly targets.
- Report to Nemisa on a weekly basis on the number of citizens that have been trained per area versus weekly targets.
