JMPD Recruitment Programme – 2023: The Department of Public Works invites interested applicants to apply for the 2023 Traffic Wardens Training Programme.
The successful candidates will be based at the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department, and will be working as EPWP Traffic Wardens. There is no age limit for this opportunity, anyone can apply.

JMPD Recruitment Programme – 2023 Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must have passed Grade 12. A valid driver’s license will be advantageous.
- Be a South African

Duties And Responsibilities:
- Patrol areas and enforce general law and order as a Peace Officer.
- Execute crime prevention functions and participate in community-related services to ensure public safety.
- Adhere to the Batho Pele principles, the Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977, the National Road Traffic Act policy and the City’s By-laws policies.
