SANparks Field Rangers Recruitment: The South African National Parks invites interested candidates who would like to join the Addo Elephant National Park Anti-Poaching Unit to attend a recruitment day for Field Rangers positions.
The successful candidates will live and work at the Addo Elephant National Park, performing anti-poaching operations throughout the park that will require them to work nightshifts and overtime.

3. Addo – Nomathamsanqa Community Hall
July 7th, 2023 at 08:30 am. Pickup Point is at Valencia Sport Field at 07:30 am
4. Enon Bersheba- Bersheba Community Hall
July 8th, 2023 at 08:30am. Transport will be provided at Langbos Creche at 07:30 am
5. Kirkwood – Moses Mabhida Stadium
July 10th, 2023 at 08:30 am. Transport will be provided at Aquapark and Bergsig, Kirkwood Engen Garage at 07:30 am.

Waterford Community, 05:00 am and again at Colchester Community Hall, 07:30 am.

SANparks Field Rangers Recruitment – Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 and must be 19 years of age or above.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Clear criminal record.
- Medically fit and healthy.
- Fitness Requirements: Run 10km in less than an hour, complete 7 push ups, 35 continuous push ups, and 50 sit ups.
Please Note: All local applicants are requested to go the venue closer to their homes ob the recruitment date.
If and when they pass the recruitment process, they will be invited for a physical assessment at Addo Elephant National Park. Furthermore, they should only bring a pen, notebook and Identity Document.
Non-local residents are requested to go to Addo Elephant National Park on July 14th, 2023 at 08:00 in the morning. Provisions will not be provided on this day. Should they pass the selection process on recruitment day, they will stay for a 2-weeks shortlisting process.
The following items are requested from non-locals:
- Winter clothes, including a beanie and two pairs of socks
- Spare clothes for changing
- Notebook and pen
- Identity Document
- Sandals or slops
- Running shoes
- Gym wear (suitable for running and exercising)
