Matric Examination Assistants Online Applications – Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be unemployed, not be receiving any form of salary or stipend from any institution at the time of applying.
- Must be young individuals between the ages of 18 – 35.
- Be South African citizens.
- Tertiary or college students (2nd Year) and applicants who only have Grade 12 must have passed Mathematics or Maths Literacy at level 4 or above, but unemployed graduates are exempted from this requirement.
- Not be an educator or tutor, and not have previously worked as an Examination Assistant.
- Physically fit to carry boxes and clean work environment.

Duties And Responsibilities:
- Control scripts received and issued by the marking centre to the Exam Markers, ensuring that all scripts are returned to the Control Room after marking.
- Check if scripts have been completely marked and if the total marks have been accurately added.
- Double check if script marks have been correctly indicated on the marks sheet.
- Sign both the script and mark sheet to indicate that the script has been correctly marked, and that the work was accurately done and completed.

- Receive marks from capturers, sort them according to districts and file them accordingly.
- Carry boxes from control room to the chief marker control room.
- Centralize control room and marking venues.
