The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance of sites, to ensure that sites are well maintained.
Previous work experience is not required to qualify.

Recruitment Drive: Vacant Land & Facilities Maintenance Programme – Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 – 55
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read and write
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Interpersonal relations

- Clear criminal record and a team player
- Reside in the ward where positions will be held or near the project site
- No experience is required, but previous work experience or exposure on vacant sites advantageous.
- Must have NOT participated in a EPWP programme in the past five years
- Willing or able to work with different hand tools
Gautrain Vacancies – Station Cleaners
- Flexible, available to work for the duration of the programme
- Basic knowledge of the Batho Pele principles, OHS on safety procedures working on vacant land, and legislative framework regulating the waste and environmental sector
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Clear waste materials, i.e. shrubs, bottles, debris, papers, etc.
- Load and offload waste at landfill sites.
- Cutting of grass and tree felling
