Exam Assistants And Quality Assurers For 2023 Matric Exams: The Gauteng Department of Education invites unemployed youth who have passed Grade 12 or equivalent and are currently registered as tertiary students or are unemployed graduates to apply for Exam Assistants and Quality Assurers positions.

As Exam Assistants, the successful candidates will be based at various exam districts and head offices in Gauteng, whilst Quality Assurers will be based at marking centres in different high schools, assisting with the marking of the Matric Examinations.

Exam Assistants And Quality Assurers For 2023 Matric Exams – Minimum Requirements:

Interested applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
Must be a tertiary student or be an unemployed graduate with a minimum of 1 tertiary qualification

Department Of Roads & Transport: Learnership Programmes

Have passed Accounting, Mathematics/Mathematics Literacy
Previous experience as an Examinatioj Assistant/ Quality Assurer will be an added advantage
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Team player, interpersonal relations
Not be writing the NSC Examinations 2023

Community Services: General Assistants With Grade 12

Duties And Responsibilities (Summarized):

Exam Assistants:

Receive, check, control, scan and pack scripts for marking on a daily basis.
Ensure that the correct number of scripts and marksheets per batch, subject, paper, and examination session are received, controlled, scanned and are packed and allocated to the correct marking venue.

Help with dispatching scripts to the marking venues.
Receive, control and archive marked scripts at the Head Office so they can easily be retrieved when required.

Apply For The Bidvest Learnership Programme (All Provinces)

Quality Assurers:

Distribute scripts to marking teams.
Control, distribute and scan scripts.
Check that all questions have been marked on answer sheets, and that the correct total mark has been indicated on the cover on the script.
Ensure that marks have been transferred to the marksheet.
