Public Paid Employment Programme: The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) seeks to employ interested applicants who are willing to do community service duties to partake in a National Youth Service (NYS) paid employment programme.
The appointed candidates will be appointed as National Youth Service Participants, and they will be responsible for various duties, depending on their academic background.
They will gain practical skills and knowledge through hands-on learning experiences while enhancing service delivery efforts in their communities, and will be earning a monthly allowance for the duration of the programme.

- Supervisors
- Sports teachers – Netball, soccer
- Extra mural activities teachers – painters, music, drama, coding tutors
- Project support roles – training logistics, data capturing, bookkeeping, HR Payroll, Recruitment Support

- South African citizens who have passed Grade 9 and above
- Passion for ECD, agriculture, greening, climate change, nutrition or surveys and data collection
Business Skills Learnership Programmes (Grade 10 – 12 Required)
- Must be between the ages of 18-35 and based in a local community
- Unemployed individuals who are not in any other public employment programme
- Not receiving SRD Grant or NSFAS
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Available for a minimum of 5 hours for 5 days a week
