Liquor Board – Liquor Compliance Wardens: The Gauteng Liquor Board is looking for unemployed candidates between the ages of 18-35, who are in possession of a  Grade 12 (Matric) certificate, and have no criminal record to apply for Liquor Compliance Warden positions.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Liquor Compliance Wardens is to maintain public safety and ensuring that establishments selling liquor operate within the bounds of the law.

Lancet Lab: Admin Clerks

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring compliance with liquor laws as indicated in the Gauteng Liquor Act, investigating and responding to complaints from members of the public, and participating in enforcement operations.

Salary: R4500 pm-R6000 pm

Liquor Board – Liquor Compliance Wardens – Minimum Requirements:

  • Be in possession of a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12/Matric)
  • National diploma and B-tech in policing would be advantageous
  • A valid driver’s license

  • Numerical skills
  • Manage to work after hours and on weekends
  • Communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Compliance with license as the Gauteng Liquor Act ( Act of 2003)

  • Investigate and respond to client complaints from members of the public
  • Monitor sales operations and age verifications

Clover: Merchandising Training Programme

  • Investigate and address complaints related to noise and disturbances
  • Provide education to establishments and the public about liquor laws, responsible drinking, and the consequences of non-compliance
  • Compile report of liquor laws violation and report them to the liquor board
  • Partake in undercover/enforcement operations

Please Note: Candidates without a Matric qualification will receive a monthly stipend of R4 500, whilst candidates who are in possession of a tertiary qualification will earn a monthly stipend of R6 000.
