Through the Education Department Second Chance programme that allows candidates to rewrite their Grade 12, a lot of people have been able to get bursaries, increase their computer skills, and they have been able to secure jobs.

The aim of the Second Chance Programme is to offer individuals who have failed to meet the requirements of getting a Matric Certificate a chance to rewrite the subjects that they have not passed.

This applies to learners who did not write all six subjects, and learners who wrote all 6 subjects but need to improve/upgrade their marks.
Through this initiative, learners receive study material and are able to attend classes or view online programmes to help prepare for the exam(s).
