The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring proper disposal of waste from homes, businesses, and other sources to disposal facilities.

They will be required to perform cleaning duties such as street cleaning, carcass disposal, lane scrubbing, and execute other general duties.

Pikitup Waste Collectors – Minimum Requirements

Must have passed Grade 10
Be physically and mentally fit
Reside within the city of Johannesburg
South African citizen with a clear criminal records ( ( police clearance will required )
Minimum of one year work experience
Basic knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, legislation, and company procedures please noted: correspondence will be limited to short listed candidates only. Should you receive no response within six weeks after the closing date, kindly consider your application as unsuccessful.

Duties and Responsibilities

Candidatess will clean and sweep roads
Gather waste from residential neighborhoods and public spaces
Load waste into disposal transport to disposal facilities
Transport and distribute refuse bags
Clean all bins, and pick up litter from designated streets
Engage with residents to promote waste disposal guidelines
Address residents’ complaints and queries
Coordinate with department officials to address challenges and to ensure that residents’ complaints are resolved

Community Development- General workers (R9 531.54)

Adhere to safety protocols to minimize risks
Keep records and reports of damaged bins and report any injuries to team leaders
Record data of all the refuse bins, cereal numbers into the bin delivery register
Complete all daily tasks and duties delegated by

Assistant Artisans, Handyman And Fitter Jobs

All refuse bags will be transported with a trolley to the pavement
All waste bins that contain waste will be cleared out and washed
Report complains and queries to the team leaders.
Observe of all field injuries and unsafe practices at work and report so that in future such can be avoided
In each service position in the facility consumers will be distributed bags
Collect refuse bags and place them on the trolley for stacking
