SANDF – Reserve Force Enrolment: The South African National Defense Force (SANDF) invites individuals between the ages of 18 – 65 to apply for the enrolment in the Reserve Force of the SANDF.
What Is A SANDF Reservist?
SANDF Reservists are individuals who will be working for the SANDF as volunteers, and will be called to duty during emergencies.

Just like any member of the SANDF, they will undergo training to ensure that acquire the skills required and are always ready and fit for deployment.

SANDF – Reserve Force Enrolment – Minimum Requirements:
- Interested applicants must be South African citizens between the ages of 18 – 65
- Must be physically and medically fit to perform duties
Available Scholarships For 2024
- Clear criminal record and no pending cases
- Committed and willing to work as a volunteer
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Partake in exercises and training to br physically and mentally prepared for deployment
- Maintain and enhance military skills
- Support active-duty military operations during a national crisis
Please Note: Applicants will be subjected to a medical examination that will be conducted by the SANDF Surgeon General. Any member of the SAPS, Metro Police, and Department Correctional Services will NOT be considered for the position.
