Sasol Fire Fighters – Sasol seeks to employ medically fit individuals who have passed Matric to apply for Fire fighter positions. As fire fighters, the successful candidates will be responsible for preventing and responding to fires and other emergency situations.

Duties and responsibilities

All company duties shall be performed according to the specified instructions.
Undertake in training to ensure mental and physical fitness in preparation of handling incidents.
Respond to occurred emergency incidents.
Ensure deliveries on PDP actions.
Must work co-operatively with stakeholders.

Engage in service work on fixed emergency equipment as required.
Reflat to emergencies according to agreed time standards as per serviced level commitments
Take part in plant preparedness emergency activities.
Notified service deliveries and improvements in effectiveness must be identified and proposed.

Make suggestions and contributions to safety improvements.
Fire stations,equipment, and vehicles as per set standards must be maintained and clean.
Standby emergency duties must be performed.
Follow all company precautions of safety as to being responsible for your own safety and colleagues safety.
