Successful candidates who are based in the kitchen will be responsible for the smooth operation of the kitchen, whilst the food service team will be taking customer orders and serving the customer.

Spur Available Vacancies Minimum Requirements:

• Unemployed individuals who have passed Grade 12
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Team player and interpersonal skills
• The knowledge of using the kitchen equipment

Dischem Dispensary Support Learnership

• Ability to stand for long hours
• Passionate about the food industry
• Basic numeracy skills
• Willing to work on weekends, late shifts and public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingridients
• Dispose waste and keep kitchen clean and hygienic at all times
• Check and restock kitchen supplies

HR Learnership Programme – 2024

• Wash dishes and pots and ensure that they are properly stored
• Help chefs with various tasks during busy periods
• Ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with preparing ingredients for meals
• Apply to clean the kitchen and maintain equipment
• Provide assistance with the training of the new kitchen staff
• The knowledge of using the kitchen equipment
