Shoprite – Money Market Trainees: Shoprite Holdings invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the YES programme in its Money Market division. Participants will receive hands-on training to develop the skills needed to work in the Money Market department.
SPAR – YES For Youth Programme 2025
To qualify for the opportunity, applicants must be unemployed South African youth between the ages of 18 to 34, and they must have passed Grade 12.
During the programme, participants will be assisting customers with money transfers, bill payments, and will be performing other financial services.
Programme Title: Money Market Sales Agent (YES Programme)
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Various Shoprite & Checkers Stores In All Provinces
Stipend: ~ R3 500 per month
Closing Date: February 14th, 2025
Shoprite – Money Market Trainees – Minimum Requirements:
- Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
- South African citizen.
- Between the ages of 18 – 34 years.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to handle cash responsibly.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Clicks – Shop Assistants Wanted
- The applicant must not have been previously employed by Shoprite.
- Not have previously participated in a YES programme.
- Previous work experience in sales a plus.
- Knowledge of of banking and financial services will be an added advantage.
Shoprite – Money Market Trainees – Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn how to operate Money Market systems efficiently.
- Promote and sell Shoprite’s Money Market accounts.
- Assist customers in creating and setting up a Money Market Account.
- Explain product features and benefits to customers.
- Provide support through the onboarding process.
- Help customers navigate the money market account.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
