Salary: R241,485 per annum plus service benefits
Gauteng Government – Road Safety Inspectors – Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience in traffic law enforcement or related law enforcement roles is preferred.
- Good understanding of road traffic laws and public transport regulations.

Gauteng Government – Road Safety Inspectors – Duties & Responsibilities:
- Enforce Road Traffic and Transport Legislation: Ensure that road traffic laws are adhered to, including public passenger transport regulations.
- Traffic Law Enforcement: Conduct law enforcement activities to reduce road traffic accidents, including speeding, illegal parking, and traffic violations.
- Accident Scene Management: Coordinate activities at accident scenes and ensure public safety.
- Monitor Traffic Flow: Implement traffic control and manage the flow of traffic, particularly in congested areas.
Early Childhood Development Programme – 2025
- Law Enforcement Duties: As a Peace Officer, you will have the authority to issue notices, make arrests, and execute enforcement under relevant Acts.
- Traffic Policing Operations: Participate in special traffic law enforcement projects and operations across the province.
