Roots Butchery: Now Hiring Candidates with Grade 12 – Apply Today – Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- South African citizen
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Honest, reliable, and customer-focused
- Previous experience in retail (advantageous but not required)

General Duties And Responsibilities:
1. Cashiers
Operate tills and handle payments accurately
Assist customers with purchases
Maintain a clean and organized till point
Provide excellent customer service at all times
2. Packers & Shelf Packers
Pack products neatly and efficiently
Ensure shelves are well-stocked and clean
Rotate stock to maintain product freshness
Assist with unpacking and sorting new stock
3. Cleaners
Maintain cleanliness of the store, including floors, fridges, and common areas
Follow hygiene protocols, especially in food-handling areas
Empty bins regularly and assist with waste disposal
Support other staff with cleaning during peak times
4. Butchery Assistants
Assist butchers with meat preparation
Clean tools and work surfaces according to food safety standards
Weigh, package, and label meat products
Maintain cold storage and display areas
5. Sales Assistants
Greet and assist customers in the store
Help customers locate items or make recommendations
Keep displays tidy and visually appealing
Assist with basic admin or stock-taking tasks as needed
