First National Bank – Learnership Opportunity- Key Responsibilities
Successful learners will gain workplace exposure and be responsible for the following tasks:
- Identify and escalate risks that could lead to increased operational costs
- Apply cost-conscious practices and understand personal contribution to efficiency
- Develop understanding of financial systems and processes
- Demonstrate accurate product knowledge and provide sound advice
- Communicate with clients according to FNB’s standards
- Create and maintain a personal development plan in partnership with your team leader

- Collaborate with team members to achieve group objectives
- Perform tasks such as research, admin, analysis, and process improvement
- Suggest system/process improvements to line managers

- Handle customer complaints professionally and take ownership of resolving issues
- Log customer feedback to help improve service quality
- Identify and escalate risks that could lead to increased operational costs
- Apply cost-conscious practices and understand personal contribution to efficiency
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a Grade 12/Matric certificate
- Must be unemployed
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Must be a South African citizen
- Fluent in English
- Focused, self-disciplined, and willing to work weekends and public holidays
- Cannot be part of another Learnership while on this programme
