The successful applicants will be responsible for assisting the Electoral Matters Department with counting votes and finalizing the results of the 2024 elections.

- Must be a South African citizen in possession of a Grade 12 certificate
- Be a registered voter with a clear criminal record
- Computer literacy and language proficiency in local language

Counting Officer – Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with counting of votes
- Verify special votes
- Reconcile issued election material, utilized ballot papers and casted ballot papers
- Assist with the the coordination of vote counting and results recording processes
- Assist with any other work related duties as required or requested by the manager
